Shawn McGill began his career in human services in 1998, where he provided direct support and service to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities that expressed very strong communication that manifested as challenging behaviors. He continued in various clinical and management roles until starting the company SMC in 2012, where he serves not just as CEO but also as an educator, trainer, mentor, and clinician.
